Author Paul Collins Mayor Toronto
Vote Author Paul Collins for Toronto Mayor 2023 --The Last Man to register! -- -- The Last Man You will ever need to be Mayor of Toronto in 2023! -- Some of the radical ideas, policies, and proposals: Champion Toronto to become its own Province in Canada and keep more of our tax dollars in Toronto. This is an idea supported in the past by Jane Jacobs, Glen Murray, Paul Godfrey and other Toronto Mayors. Until then, get Homeless and Transit costs to be paid for by the current Province of Ontario. Have a solidarity day twice a year, where police and public service workers in Toronto come out and do a march and rally to take back the city and show solidarity. Celebrate Toronto’s Birthday March 6 in a bigger way and do this rally on March 6 and at Thanksgiving. Have more community policing initiatives and expand the Neighborhood Watch program with the Crime Prevention Association of Toronto. Keep the Ontario Science Centre where it is and at Ontario Place build one of the biggest water parks! Use Downsview Park and The Toronto Zoo for bigger community events. Have the TTC subway, running more frequently and have it run 24 hours a day and it would be cheaper to use just the subway. Buses would cost extra. (Separate the cost for riders, so how about $1 for just the subway and boarding a bus would cost the rest of the current cost?). Champion building the Sheppard subway to connect the Finch West subway and then out to the Toronto Zoo. The subway should be built out to Richmond Hill and beyond, and to Mississauga . People outside of Toronto should pay more for Toronto Transit. If people use the GO bus or Trains - the TTC is free (paid by the province). (If you live, own or work in Toronto you get a discount). Celebrate the raccoon is part of our city, like we did with the moose (after all… they are already there!) Champion a Twin City Cryptocurrency Central Bank Headquarters Proposal which would be based in Toronto and in Calgary Central (already in the works). Have and encourage more paid internships. Encourage politicians and media members to be more Tech-Savy. Preserve Toronto’s Theatres. ___ Vote for Author Paul Collins on June 26th for Toronto Mayor. Be part of our campaign.
